Fotanian 2010 | フォータニアン ２０１０

香港の北部のFotan（フォータン）で1年に一度アートショーのようなイベントがあります。
香港に引っ越してからここ2年間まったくチェックしてなかったので今年はチェック、、、
Fotanにはたくさんのギャラリーやスタジオがあるのでそれらが全部一度で見れるのでけっこう楽しい、、、
ですが行ったのが最終日でさすがにゆっくり見れるはずがなく人ごみにまみれてアートをチェック。
おもしろい作品もたくさんあったのでチェックしてみてください、、、
全部の作品がローカルアーティストが製作して物です。

There is an annual art event at an area called Fotan on the northern part of Hong Kong.
Been here for 2 years already but I had never been to it so I popped over to check it out this year...
There are lots of galleries and studios in Fotan and this is more or less an open house that public can have a look at...
However we went on the last day and there were way too many people so it was far from relaxing...
Anyways there were some nice works on display so check it out...
All of the works are done by local artists.

最近かなり忙しくてその上スタジオを引っ越します、、、
のでアップがまたまた減っちゃうかも、、、

It's been five days since my last post...
Sorry for the lack of updates...
It's been super hectic here and we will be moving into a new studio so expect some lag in updating...

でAntoine + Manuelの展示会が行われていたのでチェックしてきました、、、
グラフィックがかっこよくて特にフォントは見ごたえがあるんじゃないかな、、、
デザイナーは是非チェックしたほうがいいと思う、、、

Anyways there was an exhibition for Antoine + Manuel in Hong Kong so we popped by to check it out... Nice graphics and the fonts were pretty dope... Designers should check this out...

Buffet | バフェ

オーストラリアを中心とするストリートウェア、デザイン、コンテンポラリーカルチャーを含む展示会Buffetが来月開催、、、これは業界だけでなく一般人も入場OKみたいなので要チェック！
スピーカーにはJeff StapleとLuca Ionescuが、、、やばっ！！！
でCaine、FrankとJackyもスピーカーとして参加みたいなのでこっちもチェックしてみて、、、

There will be a new Australian tradeshow/expo that focus on streetwear, design, contemporary culture called Buffet next month... This is not just for the industry and anyone can go check it out so check if out if you are in the area!
Also Jeff Staple and Luca Ionescu will be speaking... DOPE!!!
Oh and Caine, Frank and Jacky will be speaking too so check them out too...

Geseho Flagship Store Opening Party

シンガポールのストリートブランドGeshoがついにフラッグシップストアをオープン！
明日がオープニングパーティーなのでシンガポールにいるなら是非チェック、、、
Geshoのデザイナー/オーナーのTonyに初めて会ったのが２年前くらいかな、、、
その短期間でここまで来たのはすごいと思う。

Singapore's street brand Geseho have finally opened its flagship store!
Tomorrow is the opening party so if you are in SG go check it out...
It was like 2 years ago that I first met with Tony who is the designer/owner of Gesho...
He worked hard in this short time to get to this point.

10人くらいのライダーが集まり楽しい時間をすごしました、、、

We had the Riding School 2 last weekend...
About 10 riders turned up and we had some fun...

Team Flwriderの初回ミーティングが行われました、、、
このグループは香港でサイクリングやピストをプッシュするために作られました。
ほとんどのメンバーが集まって気楽にキャッチアップ、、、
これから面白いことを企画していく予定。

So we had the first official meeting for Team Flwrider...
It's a new group that will be pushing cycling and fixed gear in Hong Kong in general.
Most of the members turned up and had a good casual chat...
Should be fun stuff that will come out soon.

DJとして間違いない、、、本物のディスク・ジョッキーです。

これはとくに良いインタビューじゃないけれど編集が好きだったので、、、

If you don't know DJ Neil Armstrong, he is definitely worth checking out...
He does dope mixtapes and has mad knowledge on music in general.
One of the best DJs around... Like a REAL disc jockey...

This is probably not the best interview or what ever of DJ Neil Armstrong but I like the editing and the look of it!!!

New Year Ride | 新年ライド

先日2010年初のライドに行ってきました、、、
10人くらいのライダーが集まりShatinからTai Poへいつものルートをライド。
デジカメの電池が切れそうだったのでそれほど写真を撮ってないけど
今年の良いスタートになった気がする。

Went for the first ride in 2010 the other day...
There were about 10 riders in total and rode on the usual Shatin to Tai Po route.
The battery was running out so I didn't take too many pics
but it feels like a good start for the year.
