パースで実家の掃除してたらこんなの発見、、、

1998年2月号のOllie、、、

たぶんここからストリートファッションにのめりこんでいったのかも、、、

これ以前はスケートとヒップホップくらいだったと思う、、、

まあストリートカルチャーが好きになったすべてのきっかけはスケートボード、、、

またあとでディグッたのアップします。

So I was cleanin up my mum's house and found some of these...

February 1998 issue of Ollie...

I think I got interested in street fashion around this point...

Before that was pretty much skateboarding and hip hop all the way...

Well my first love for street culture was nothing but skateboarding...

Will post some other finds later on.

でドラムンベースとロンドン特集、、、

The cover... Looks very 90s...

And drum n bass and London was the main feature...

UKブランドショーケース、、、

UK brands were being showcased...

で今でも残ってるのが、、、

AddictとMaharishiだけ！

Rustyはオーストラリアのサーフブランドで今でもあるけど、、、

And the ones that are left now...

Addict and Maharishi only!

Rusty is still around but it is more of an Australian surf brand...

Bond up in the house but since long gone...

New Eraの前の時代でこのころはFlex Fitが主流、、、

PNB Nation、Droors、555 Soulなどなど懐かしいブランドがズラリ、、、

This was way before New Eras came about and Flex Fit was ruling the scene...

PNB Nation, Droors, 555 Soul are well missed brands right now...

These don't seem to be all that different...

Super Star, Sude and New Balance are classics that will never die...

Others are very 90s!

オーストラリアのたぶんメルボルンで発行してるZineみたいな雑誌Hypeも発見、、、

色々あったなかでこのカバーが目を、、、

And at this time, I got interested in graff too...

This is Hype which is like a zine from Melbourne, Australia... I think...

Amongst the many mags, this cover caught my eye...

なんかこうして10年ほどまえの出来事を見るとけっこう面白い、、、

基本的にこういうものは捨てられないタイプなんでタイムカプセルみたいにずっと保管、、、

Lookin back at what happened 10 or so years back is kinda fun...

I'm the type that can't really throw these things away so I will keep these like a time capsule...
