香港島の開発前には九龍(クーロンまた英語ではカオルーン)が香港の東京都みたいな存在でした。香港の旧国際空港は九龍にあり都内を飛行機で着陸するスリルが味わえた事でも有名でした。まあふるっぽくていかにもホンコンって思わせてくれる地区です。オレかなり好きです、、、

毎回九龍に行くとホンコンフレーバーを味わえます。人ごみ、ダーティーさ、礼儀の悪さ、、、最悪な言い方ですがこれこそ香港ってオレは感じます。写真を見てもらえればちょっとくらい理解できるかも。九龍は香港の一押しスポットです！

Before the Hong Kong island build up, Kowloon used to be the major district of Hong Kong. It is where the old international airport is situated and you could experience the thrill of landing in between skyscrapers. This is an old district which is distinctly Hong Kong. I love these areas...

Everytime I step foot into Kowloon, I can literally taste the flavours of Hong Kong. The over crowded streets, dirt, no manners... Maybe this is a bad way to describe it but I feel like this IS Hong Kong. If you check the pics, perhaps you can get what I mean. Kowloon is a must hit spot in Hong Kong!

DisObeying | Obey隠し

LanceのObey隠しプロジェクト進行中、、、そろそろ完成っぽいけどけっこうドープになりそう。ブラック/ホワイトカラーコンビがシンプルかつ大人っぽい？かも、、、デッドストックのTurbo GELがヤバイ！超ソフトで乗り心地よさそ～！

Lance's is simply disObeying his bike... It's nearly done and should look pretty dope once it's all completed. The simple B/W colourway will probably make it look mature? Maybe... The deadstock Turbo GEL saddle is off the hook! Super soft ride!

Warpはやっぱり日本の雑誌でいちばん好き。レイアウトもキレイだし内容もワールドワイド/ドメス情報が良い具合でミックス、、、でページペラペラしてたらイイ笑顔のIkeさん発見！！！(笑) 楽しそ～！

Warp is one of my fav Japanese magazines. They got clean layout and have a great balance between Japanese and world wide contents... While looking through the pages... Ike's huge smile graced the page!!! hahaha Looks like mad fun!

グローブトロッターLanceがシカゴからお土産もらっちゃいました。バイクのタイヤバルブに取り付けてチカチカするライトx2、、、チャリのカラーに合ったレッド！ちょっと加工してロックしようっと、、、サンキュ～！

Lance the globe trotter got me these as a souvenire from Chi Town. It's a flickering light that goes on the bike's tire valves... Red matches the colour codes of the bike nicely! Needs a bit of modification but it should be easy fit... Thanks!

ナイキ(NSW)ショップオープンの時にBrian (Know1edge/8five2/24Herbs)がKnow1edgeの最新カタログくれて香港俳優Daniel Wuとのコラボ作品が12月ドロップするそう。写真じゃ詳しく見れないかもしれないけどドープなラインアップなので要チェック！Big ups Brian, keep the heat comin!

During the Nike Sportswear opening, Brian (Know1edge/8five2/24Herbs) passed me the latest Know1edge catalogue which features a collab with Hong Kong actor Daniel Wu. This collection is set to drop in December so be on the look out. It is a little hard to see from the pics but these are some dope line ups! Big ups Brian, keep the heat comin!

サプライヤーとの打ち合わせ先にちょっと早く着いちゃったから暇つぶしにEast Touch(香港アーバンライフスタイル雑誌)を買ったら700号記念でなんか特別な感じ。Kaws x Clotが特集みたいでOriginal Fakeも色々と載ってた。Kawsの限定スティッカーが付録でスティッカーマニアなオレは超ハッピー！！！

でどうせ中国語読めないからペラペラって写真だけ楽しんでたら、、、フランキー発見！ちゃっかりモデルしてる。香港ストリート業界の働き者なフランキーはSubcrewっていうブランドのディレクター、、、この写真はなにかとドープ、、、

Was going to a meeting with the suppliers and arrived early so I picked up the latest copy of East Touch (Hong Kong's urban lifestyle magazine) and it was some special for their 700th issue. The main feature was Kaws x Clot and also had heavy feature on Original Fake. The best part was it came with some Kaws stickers and it made me mad happy cos I am a sticker freak!!!

Anyways because I can't read Chinese, flippin through the pages and checkin out pics is the best I can do... There he was, Frankie was on one of the spreads! Modellin for OF.... For those who don't know, Frankie is one of the hardest workin dudes in Hong Kong's streetwear industry and is a director of a brand called Subcrew... This pic is pretty dope.

NSW HK Grand Opening | NSW香港グランドオープニング

Nike Sportswear (NSW) 香港のグランドオープニングパーティーに遊びに行ってきました。コーズウェイベイのパクサロード(白沙道)にショップがオープン、、、ちょうど近所で良かった、、、やっぱりニューヨークや東京ほどには騒いでないけど香港セレブ(全然知らないからだれがいたかは分からないけど、、、)と日本からフォトグラファー新田圭一と宇野薫選手もいました。なんだかとにかく人がいっぱいで友達とチルできた事のほうがパーティーより楽しめた、、、ほとんど写真撮るの忘れちゃったけど雰囲気は伝わると思う。みんなフリードリンクでかなりあがってたね、、、

しかもたったいま知ったんだけど、、、新田圭一の作品がショップ内に展示されてたんだ～、、、ショップ内を見忘れちゃった(涙)。悔しい！

それで印象的だったのはショップとかセレブじゃなくてディスプレー商品がホッチキスされてた事！！！これありえないでしょう、、、アクリルのケースかなんかに入れようよナイキなんだからさ～、、、ここまでカネつかってホッチキスとはちょっとやられたな。違う意味でヤバイ！

Popped over to the Nike Sportswear (NSW) Hong Kong's grand shop opening... Luckily it was close to where I live and the shop is located on Pak Sha Road in Causeway Bay. It wasn't as hectic as NYC or Tokyo but it was filled with Hong Kong celebs (who I have no idea who they are...) and there were Japanese photographer Keiichi Nitta and mix martical fighter Caol Uno. There were just people everywhere but catching up with friends was the funnest part of the night... Anyways I kind of forgotten to take many pics but hopefully you kind of get the feeling of the atmosphere of the night... Everyone was pretty much on another level with all the free drinks!

I just literally found out that works of Keiichi Nitta was actually displayed inside the shop!!! Totally missed out on going inside the shop cos I was busy catchin up... Damn!

The most memorable of the event however is the display was actually held together by staplers!!! I just couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it... hahaha These should have been covered with acrylic case or something... I mean this is Nike right? Oh well... They are on another level here... That's for sure.

昨夜かなしいニュースを聞きました。しかもちょっと遅れて、、、台北ピストクルーNabiisのメンバー数人と台北ヤクザがぶつかり合ったとの事。最悪にもChek(ドープグラフィティライター＆ピストライダー)がかなりの重症で命を失う直前だったみたい。頭部が割れてやっと目覚めたそう。一日早くもスピーディーなフルリカバリーがかなうことを祈ってます。このショッキングニュースを聞いた後にふと思ったのはやはり人生は長いようで短いし1秒もが大事だということ。人生はフルに生きる以外無意味！夢を追えば必ず実現する日が来るでしょう、、、

Was notified last night about the sad incident involving some of the Nabiis crew and Taipei gangsters... Worst thing is Chek (dope graff writer & fixed rider) is in critical condition but have awoke from coma... Mad mad head injury and we prey that he makes a full recovery quick. This shocking news game me a quick reminder that life is actually short and every second does count. Make use of it and live life to the fullest! Follow your dreams, one day it will come true...

世界中で大騒ぎしてるNike Sportswearオープニング！がやっと香港にもきたっ！！！遊びに行ってきます。最近忙しくて外出てないので久々に楽しみ、、、会場で会いましょう！

Auckland representer Frank(Qubic/Quaters/Sole Jam) arrived in Hong Kong on the way back from Tokyo... This time he was fixed gear less so we popped over to a place with air con and an ash tray... Luckily Afterschool was open and had a good catch up with Pokit as well! Got some update on Tokyo from Frank and we just chilled... Good to see you again dude!

This cafe is the best cafe in Hong Kong and if you are in Causeway Bay, do pop over there... You won't regret it... The bizzarest suprise was when Pokit introduced us to James(Love Da Music) who happen to be the boss of Darren from Singapore's fixed gear crew Fixpatrix. He is mad about bikes and he currently have a secret fixed gear project going on... That should be pretty fun once it is finished... Nice to meet you James!
